The home team are coming off another strong performance against Dimboola and will go into the match with some added confidence despite losing the round three match.
A win against the Burras will be no easy task with the visitors unbeaten after the first three matches.
They sit second on the ladder and the home team will need to be at their best if they are to get the points at Alexandra Oval.
Minyip-Murtoa are coming off a thumping 29-goal win against the Saints and will go into the match as favourites against the Rats.
The Rats sit in fifth position but a win will move them into a top four and closer to a finals berth after missing out in A Grade last season.
Rats coach Lauren Armstong said the team knows it will be a hard game against the Burras.
“We know Minyip-Murtoa are going to be tough, what let us down against Horsham was our decision making,” she said.
“I guess what we are taking out of that is making sure we make the right decisions.
We do not want to rush the ball and take our chances when we cause a turnover.”
The team is still learning to play together but Armstrong said the squad is coming along nicely.
“We are still a new team and still adjusting to ourselves but we are improving, we will have a full side in again this weekend, so we will see how we go and hopefully get the win.”
The match starts at 2.15pm at Ararat’s Alexandra Oval.
