Ararat recorded their first win of the season last week with two dominant quarters helping them over the line.
The Eagles will need to make sure they play four quarters of strong netball if they are to take the win away from home on Saturday.
Alana Jenkins is a key target in the goal ring for Ararat and will need to finish accurately as Hawkesdale-Macarthur’s Kirsty Williams is a tall defender that rebounds strongly.
Ararat Eagles defender Jordyn Leggett has worked hard and will need to continue with her determined game as she is likely to come up against Hawkesdale-Macarthur goalie Georgia Martin.
Quick on her feet, Martin loves to move through the midcourt and around the ring, creating space for herself and teammates whilst moving the ball forward quickly.
Leggett will need to be tight and composed in defence whilst looking for support from fellow defender Genesis Rameka.
Both sides have encountered an up and down start to the season and will be hoping they can record a second consecutive win in the round five match.
If the Eagles win, they will jump above Hawkesdale-Macarthur, as both teams sit level on eight points.
