Open and 17 and under coach Gayle Leith said it had been a great day. “It has been a while since we have came back with all four wins,” she said.
It was a particularly tough game for the open side. The team secured its 55-53 win in double-overtime with ever player on court contributing in a physical game.
The 17 and under side won 47-34 with Emma Bulwalda best on court in the win
Ararat’s Racquel Scott was best on court in the 15 and under side’s 36-31 win.
Leith was full of praise for a developing 13 and under side which continued to impress her. The side won its game 30-24 with Molly Fagan best on court.
“As an association we would like to thank everyone that came along to support,” Leith said. “We also need to thank Penelope Manserra, Penny Fisher and Jane Richardson for umpiring. Without their help we would not be able to do any of this.”
