In the second match of the night, it was the Warriors that got the win against the Rovers.
The Warriors jumped out to a five goals to one lead at the first break which put the Rovers on the back foot.
The lead grew as the game went on with the Warriors finishing comfortable 12.10.82 to 5.4.34 winners to finish with the four points.
Kade Bohner was the leading goalkicker with four for the Warriors in his team’s first win of the season.
The result means every team has won at least one game in the first four rounds, showing the evenness of the competition.
The Mounties have a two-game buffer at the top of the ladder ahead of Rovers in second place with eight points.
The Warriors and Bombers round out the bottom places, but both still remain in striking distance with four points each.
Bohner’s four goal haul puts him at the top of the goalkicking with 10 for the season.
