“I’m confident in the team’s ability and the way that they play,” she said.
“We’ll need to have a good start and apply pressure all across the court.”
The two sides met in the second semi-final when Dimboola won 37-32.
“Our defensive pressure was really good in that game and we need to play like that again on Saturday,” Exell said.
“If we use our height and continue to work well together we should have a good chance.”
Demons coach Abbie Avery said the side had been regrouping since its loss in the semi-final.
“To turn the result around we’ll have to play smarter,” she said.
“The team was a bit panicked at times against Dimboola.”
The finals encounter between the sides was the third time the teams played this season.
During the regular season the sides split the results with one win each.
“It could be anyone’s game at the end,” Avery said.
“Myself and Paige are proud of how far they’ve gotten this season.”
This season is Avery’s first coaching in the junior ranks and she said her team had made it easy.
Exell said she was proud of how the team had performed to get to this point.
“No matter what happens on Saturday we’re extremely proud of the girls and how they’ve played through the season,” she said.
