Coach Vicki Burke said her team was in good shape heading into the match.
“The team’s in a great place at the moment,” she said.
“Last week was a big week for us and now I feel we’re ready for the weekend.
“A lot of work has been put into our side and now we will wait to see the result.
“I’m very proud of the girls and we are hungry to get the win.”
With the Demons having made it through the season undefeated, the Burras will go into the game as underdogs.
“I’m certainly happy about the place we are in,” Burke said.
“Everyone knows there is that little bit of extra pressure on the Demons.”
During the regular season, Minyip-Murtoa showed signs of constant improvement.
In round 13, the side pushed Horsham all the way and led at three-quarter time before the Demons came back to win.
The sides met again in a semi-final in the second week of the finals with Horsham winning comfortably.
After a week of soul-searching, the Burras bounced back in the preliminary final against Stawell and are now as confident as ever.
“I think everyone knows how strong they are through the mid-court,” Burke said.
“Abbie Avery and Paige Lloyd have got plenty of experience and they play a fast, controlled game.
“We are just going to have to work harder through that part of the court. There’s room for improvement there and we know that.”
After the pressure of last week’s do-or-die preliminary final the team has been more relaxed this week.
“We conquered a few demons last week and we’re looking to conquer a few more this week,” Burke said.
“We’ve done all the hard work and we’re in good shape so we are ready to give it our best shot.
“Everyone is feeling fresh and everything has so far worked in our favour.”
Burke has been in charge of the Burras A Grade side for two years and has yet to taste victory against the Demons.
“Now would be a pretty good time to get the first one,” she said.
A win on the weekend would be a rare success for the Burras in A Grade netball.
“Everyone has been so great and so supportive,” Burke said.
“There is a real buzz in the air around the club at the moment.
“It’s not that common of an event for so many of our teams to do so well at once because we are only two small towns.
“We’ve done some recruiting and it’s paid off.”
