After an entertaining opening set between Debbie Robb's Rick Thomas and Ben Pietsch and Gasons' Matt Haddow and Sam Gason, which resulted in a seven all draw, things started to go Debbie Robb's way.

The team won the next two sets to take a two game lead into the halfway mark of the match, however Gasons began to mount a comeback.

Ash Cooper served a few heavy ones, while Pietsch was prepared to chase balls down from a great distance with a number of big dashes.

Two big wins in two of the next three sets went Gasons way and saw the side claim victory one set and two games.

Retravision had a much easier job navigating Carey Covers, following a slow start.

Wayne Jerram upset the rhythm of his opponents on a number of occasions with several well placed lobs, while Darren Beer showed plenty of dash to help his team with two of its three sets.

In the final match of the night Eastick Homes proved too strong for Mitre-10.

Ashley Mann had a good night not dropping a set for the winning team.
