With good rainfall this week the total of the year is now well up on the same period in 2013. To 9am yesterday 85.3mm had been recorded in Ararat, bringing the yearly total to 215.7mm, which is 140mm higher than the 140m recorded to the end of June last year.

Trains:
Coaches will replace trains between Melbourne and Ballarat from Saturday June 28 to Tuesday July 15. Trains will continue to operate between Ballarat and Ararat/Maryborough. Ballarat trains will no longer stop at North Melbourne station from July 16.
