More than 400 people attended the first weekend of performances and enjoyed the stunning voices of the three witches, played by Maree Croft, Amelia Kingston and Kellie Bywater, as well as the devilish sense of humour of Ian McCready, who played the leading role of Daryl Van Horne, the mysterious stranger who arrives in the little town of Eastwick and turns it on its head.
The leads were backed up by a chorus of experienced singers and actors who provided some highlights themselves with great catchy songs that audiences won't forget in a hurry.
An 11 piece band wowed the audiences with its fabulous brassy performance, and together with great costumes, clever use of technology for the stage setting, sound effects and lighting, it is a show you shouldn't miss.
Two more performances remain for The Witches of Eastwick, this Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm. Tickets are available at the Ararat Performing Arts Centre box office or at www.trybooking.com
