ARARAT - Three people have been questioned by police after a laser was shone into the eyes of the driver and passenger of a vehicle in Barkly Street last Wednesday night.

The occupants of the vehicle were travelling along Ingor Street when they turned into Barkly Street at about 9.40pm.
The victim who was driving their partner, son and sister in law was forced to pull the car to the side of the road when a green laser was shone into the driver's eyes and reflected off the rear vision mirror.
The victim claims to have suffered stinging eyes and blurred vision as the car was forced to pull over.
Once stationary a passenger said she suffered temporary loss of vision and pain to her eyes after she was struck in the eye with the laser after it was shone through the windows of the vehicle.
Three people were interviewed by police for conduct endangering a person's life and possessing a prohibited weapon, but were released pending further enquiries.
Police highlight the act as a particularly dangerous given that it can result in serious harm to drivers and passengers of vehicles on our roads.
