Mounties and Warriors both started steadily with only three points separating them at half time.

Warriors produced a better third quarter giving them a handy lead going in to the final term.

However, Mounties turned the game around and dominated the final quarter kicking five goals straight to get them over the line by seven points.

Three players shared the goalkicking honours with two goals each

In the second match of the round Bombers took on Rovers.

Bombers, the competition leaders took control early, which meant Rovers had to try and play catch up football.

Rovers never gave in, playing out the game as best they could.

Bombers had 10 goalkickers for the match, which showed good team work and sharing of the ball.

Next Week there will be no junior football for the school holidays, however the next round will be on July 14, the last week of the school holidays.

With only four rounds until the finals all clubs will continue to play their best in the lead up to the finals series.
