Neighbourhood House takes food relief on the road
ARARAT Neighbourhood House has officially taken the keys of a new refrigerated van, opening the door for fresh food relief to reach vulnerable and isolated residents across the region. The van was funded through an $86,500 grant under the 2025-26 Food Relief Program, allowing the organisation to purchase a vehicle specifically designed to deliver groceries to residents who may otherwise struggle to access the service.
Ararat Neighbourhood House volunteer Peter Rhodes, Ford Sales Manager Connor Brown, Ararat Neighbourhood House Manager Teli Kaur, Ford’s Athalie Jende and MP Martha Haylett unveil the new Food Van for Ararat Neighbourhood House.
