Mother-Son duo take on round 14 Ararat district tennis in doubles action
Ararat and District Tennis Association's round 14 action.

Some tight contests between close rivals made for an exciting weekend of Ararat and District Tennis Association action on Saturday, February 8.
Players from across the region returned to courts for round 14 of the 2024/25 summer season.
Taking on Buangor on the road, mother and son duo from Landsborough, Anne-Maree and Theo Browne got to share the court and the victory.
The pair beat Buangor's Jack Cameron and Isobel Leggett 8-4.
One other mixed-doubles encounter fell the way of Landsborough, while Buangor claimed two.
Landsborough won the men's section 3-1, highlighted by Justin and Aiden Lee's 8-0 win.
Buangor's Chris and Tim Hartwich also swept their match 8-0.
A tighter battle ensued in the women's section, with two matches forced to a tie-break, with Buangor winning 3-1.
Although Landsborough had claimed enough games to win 76-63.
Ladder leaders Maryborough Avoca hit the road, headed for the home of Elmhurst Amphitheatre.
Maryborough Avoca won men's doubles section convincingly with all for rubbers falling their way.
Riley Ford and Trevor Field combined for the most dominant pairing and kept Marlow Boatman and Josh Baker without a game in the rubber.
The dominance in the men's doubles proved vital for Maryborough Avoca as Elmhurst Amphitheatre swept the women's doubles, but with a few slightly closer margins.
Two mixed doubles rubbers falling each way but the overall result favoured Maryborough Avoca 66-64.
Stawell and Crowlands also met in round 14, with both side agreeing to three-match sections to ensure a contest could be played.
Crowlands were strong through the day, winning the men's section 2-1 and the women's section 3-0.
Stawell won the mixed action 2-1, but Crowlands Keith and Mary-Lou Boatman picked up an 8-0 rubber victory.
Crowlands won the day 65-41.
