Full job description

About the role

Working alongside the Blast Furnace team you will be responsible for executing preventive and breakdown maintenance throughout the plant and small construction upgrades. This is role is in a highly industrialised environment.

About your experience

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • An “A Class” Electrical licence
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent Electrical Trade)
  • Experience in fault finding
  • Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and focused 
  • Strong technical and electrical aptitude 
  • Experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance 
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety in the workplace, complying with all company policies, WH&S rules and regulations and hold safety as a core value on our journey to Goal Zero. 

Experience in an industrial environment is preferred. Any applicants that hold additional qualifications, including HV switching, PLC I & II and current High Risk Work licences will be highly regarded but not essential, training will be provided.
