Your new company
This opportunity is available to join a reputable State Government Department on a full time temporary contract for up to 12 months, as a maternity leave cover. Our client is looking for experienced Customer Service Officers to come in and hit the ground running assisting with customer enquiries and applications relating to Tolling, Ticketing or Concession schemes.

Your new role
Within your new role as Customer Service Officer your role will involve updating customer details, investigating account anomalies, exceptions and errors and escalated customer feedback and complaints. The role will also process video images of License Plate Numbers (LPN) to complete tolling transactions and prevent toll revenue loss so exposure to transactions is extremely advantageous.

Duties will include:

  • Providing high-level customer service daily to the high volume of customers communicating via phone and email
  • Providing clear, correct and timely information whilst following up with emails and data entry to ensure all matters are resolved quickly
  • Working with third parties to assist customers, as the first point of contact for internal and external customers through effective and timely communication and reports

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position you should have:

  • Previous experience working within a contact centre and experience/exposure to TRANSACTIONS
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • You must be a confident multi-tasker and have a committed approach to customer satisfaction

Please note this contract is currently looking to start ASAP so you must be available at short notice and able to provide two recent references.

What you'll get in return
On offer to you is a pay-rate of $280 per day + super. In return you will receive excellent working hours Monday to Friday working 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week during normal business hours. You will be joining a vibrant, supportive and friendly team environment on a temporary contract currently estimated for up to 12 months covering a team member on maternity leave. Your first two weeks will be paid on-the-job training and will require you to be fully office-based. This role is HYBRID, with 2-3 days per week in their Parramatta office and 2-3 days per week WORK FROM HOME.
