In a record-breaking moment, Dynamic Taekwon-Do Australia (South Australia) showcased the youngest competitor at just three years old, alongside the oldest new champion, aged over 80. The remarkable contrast highlighted Taekwon-Do’s enduring appeal across generations, inspiring participants and spectators alike.

The championship brought together clubs including IL Shim International Taekwon-Do Stawell, Il Shim Taekwon-Do Melbourne, Impact Taekwon-Do Australia, Victoria ITF Australia, and Dynamic Taekwon-Do Australia (SA). United by a shared vision, competitors and organisers honoured the legacy of General Choi Hong Hi, with guidance from Grand Master Daher, who has long championed the dream of strengthening Taekwon-Do’s global community.

Beyond the medals and matches, the event fostered friendships, strengthened bonds, and ignited new passion within the Taekwon-Do family. Organisers praised the hospitality of IL Shim International Taekwon-Do Stawell, whose efforts ensured visiting teams felt welcomed and supported.

As the mats were packed away and the final bows exchanged, one sentiment echoed across the hall: this was only the beginning. With memories made and legacies honoured, the community is already looking forward to next year’s One Legacy ITF Victorian Open Championship.
