Gallery gets an exhibition it didn’t ask for
VOLUNTEERS at the Stawell Railway Station Art and Craft Gallery are counting the cost of an unwanted addition to their collection after graffiti and vandalism struck the historic station. Graffiti has been sprayed around the railway station precinct, while heritage seating has also been deliberately damaged, leaving gallery volunteers frustrated and concerned.
Stawell Railway Station Art and Craft Gallery volunteers Linda Maher and Pauline Shirrefs are calling for greater protection of the heritage station after graffiti and vandalism damaged the precinct.
