Donation helps deliver vital programs

MOST Saturday mornings you’ll catch the Ararat Lions Club cooking up sausages and hamburgers in Barkly Street. It’s one of a number of things the local Lions do to raise funds, but you may have asked yourself, what do they do with the money? This week the Advocate was on hand to see another tangible example of where the local Lions are making a difference. Lions Club members Damian O’Loughlan, Mary Schwencke and Rosi Sanders turned up at Ararat Neighbourhood House with a cheque for $1,440.
