Council backs creek clean-up
PYRENEES Shire Council will make provisions for the removal of vegetation from Burnbank Creek when it prepares its annual budget. A preliminary assessment was undertaken to identify vegetation to be removed or impacted as part of proposed flood mitigation works in Burnbank Creek, Lexton.
Council is seeking funding to clean up vegetation from Burbank Creek in Lexton to improve water flow at times of flooding.
