Celebrating many cultures
HUNDREDS of local residents came together recently at the Stawell Town Hall for a celebration of our multicultural community. The third annual Grampians Harmony Festival brought to Stawell the colour and flavours of dozens of countries including China, Nigeria, the Phillipines, Thailand and Tonga.
Stawell Secondary College Chinese students Ava Parry, Summer Smith, Adalita Soule and Millie McColl took part in a traditional Chinese dance the Grampians Harmony Festival.
