Ben 10 bolts to victory
THERE’S not much at Booligal in southern New South Wales. With a population of just 95 people, the town still boasts a shop, a school, a pub and a sports oval. But every year the town’s population swells with the annual Booligal Sheep Races. Hundreds of people from across the country converge on the tiny town for the running of the annual event. This year, the winner of the ‘prestigious’ race was Beaufort’s Ben Lyons.
