Ararat’s forgotten fountain
FOR decades, the McCulloch fountain in the Alexandra Gardens has been largely hidden from view. Stuck at the back of the Rotary Orchid House, the fountain didn’t get much in the way of passing glances, but all that recently changed. The recent removal of the orchid house has opened up the northern section of the gardens with the fountain now in full view.
Pat McAloon and Marion McAdie brave a cold winter morning to check out the condition of the McCulloch Fountain.
