In the Grampians Saturday Pennant Division 1 2021-2022 competition, Chalambar, Ararat VRI and Ararat Bowls clubs picked up victories.
Chalambar Golf Bowls Club (77shots) defeated Stawell Bowling Club (66 shots) two rinks to one.
Gary Todd's team got Chalambar off to a great start with a 34-16 victory to start the match. Stawell Bowling Club then hit back winning the second rink 31-13 however, Chalambar would win the third rink 30-19 to seal the match.
Ararat VRI Bowls Club (80 shots) comprehensively defeated Aradale Bowls Club (63 shots) to claim 10 points.
The match was sealed with Ararat VRI winning the first two rinks although Aradale would go on to win the third and final rink 27-24.
Ararat Bowling Club (66 shots) claimed 10 points against Stawell Golf Bowling Club (60 shots).
Stawell claimed the first rink 25-19, although Ararat would hit back winning the second 27-17.
With the match up in the balance Richard Fisher's team three was able to scrape over the line defeating Stawell 20-18.
The results for the Lake Bolac and District Bowling Club vs Landsborough and District Bowling Club is yet to be determined at the time of publication.

The round six results so far ensure Chalambar Golf Bowls Club are on top of the table with three wins, 34 points and a percentage of 135.8 per cent.
At this stage Aradale Bowls Club is second on the table with three wins, 32 points and 106.6 per cent.
Round six action is pencilled in for Saturday December 11, with an intriguing four games ahead.

Division two
Round seven of the Grampians Saturday Pennant Division 2 2021-2022 competition saw an array of different results.
Stawell Bowling Club drew (76 shots) with Ararat Bowling Club Gold.
Ararat claimed seven points to Stawell's five due to winning two out of the three rinks.
Ararat VRI Bowling Club (64 shots) were defeated by Aradale Bowls Club (73 shots).
Aradale narrowly won the first rink 21-20 before losing the second 25-21.
With the match drawn at one rink a piece it was Aradale who won 31-19.
Lake Bolac and District Bowling Club Red (67 shots) defeated by Lake Bolac and District Bowling Club Black (62 shots).
In the battle of Lake Bolac the match was tight with the result coming down to the last rink.
Kevin Higgins' side was able to clinch victory over their clubmates with a 22-19 win in the third rink.
Ararat Bowling Club Green (94 shots) demolished Stawell Golf Bowling Club (50 shots) 12 points to 0.
After a close first rink (29-23) Ararat Green won the final two rinks by over ten shots in each.

At the conclusion of round seven Stawell Bowling Club are on top of the table with three wins, 35 points and a percentage of 128.6.
Aradale Bowls Club sit second on the ladder with three wins, 34 points and 132.9 per cent.
