Buangor-Tatyoon kicked off round two action with an upset win over Swifts-Great Western by 44 runs.

After being sent in to bat, openers Sam Cronin (40 runs) and James Arney (32 runs) combined for a 64-run partnership, setting up Buangor-Tatyoon to score 151 runs from their 20 overs.

Tom Eckel and Marc Collins both picked up two wickets for Swifts-Great Western.

Sam Cocks (43 runs) and Tom Eckel (20 runs) got Swifts-Great Western off to a good start, however they fell 44 runs short of the desired total.

James Phillips was the best bowler for Buangor-Tatyoon, finishing with 2-8 off two overs.

Chalambar defeated Halls Gap at Gordon Street Recreation Reserve (Ararat)

Chalambar registered their first win for the season with a convincing 32 run victory over Halls Gap.

Chalambar scored 105 runs after deciding to bat first with Sam Pilgrim top scoring with 42 runs.

Ricki McIntosh was the best bowler for Halls Gap, taking three wickets from four overs.

Halls Gap struggled to establish a meaningful partnership with number nine Caleb Bretherton top scoring with 14 runs.

Ethan McKinnis was the most damaging bowler for Chalambar with 3-13 off four overs.

Pomonal defeated by Youth Club at Pomonal Cricket Ground

Youth Club clinically defeated Pomonal by nine wickets in round three.

Pomonal batted first and were decimated by Youth Club with the ball, being bowled all out for 71 runs.

Opener Lynden Brewis scored 21 and number four Matt Peel top scored with 23.

Matt Healy was the best Youth Club bowler with figures of 3-12 off four overs.

Youth Club made easy work of the Pomonal total, chasing down the 71 runs with eight overs to spare.

Opener Koby Stewart top scored for Halls Gap with 37 runs.

Buangor-Tatyoon made it two wins on matchday two after defeating Halls Gap by five wickets.

Charlie McIntosh top scored with 37 runs and Luke Stevens scored 14.

Alexander McDougall was the best bowler for Buangor-Tatyoon, bowling one maiden and taking two wickets from four overs.

After deciding to bat first, Chalambar only managed 41 runs with Reece Kettle top scoring with 16 runs.

Marc Collins took four wickets and only allowed eight runs from three overs.

Sam Cocks (20 runs) and Jesse Eckel (11 runs) helped Swifts-Great Western chase down the Chalambar total with 12 overs to spare.

Teague Vincent was impressive with ball in hand, picking up three wickets from four overs for Chalambar.

Rhymney-Moyston defeated by St Andrews at Moyston Recreation Reserve

St Andrews registered their first win of the season with an easy nine wicket win over Rhymney-Moyston.

Rhymney-Moyston batted first and were all out in the eighteenth over, only making 39 runs.

Paul Menzies was the best bowler for St Andrews, taking 3-7 and bowling one maiden from four overs.

Paul Menzies also top scored for St Andrews with 21 runs, to allow his side to chase down the Rhymney-Moyston target in nine overs.

Navarre defeated Halls Gap at Navarre Recreation Reserve

Navarre easily accounted for Halls Gap by 34 runs in round two.

After being sent into bat Navarre scored 1-125 with Thomas Hannett top scoring with 56 runs.

Halls Gap finished their inning 8-91 with Noah Stirling top scoring with 31 runs.

Buangor-Tatyoon defeated reigning premier Swifts-Great Western by 32 runs and defeated Halls Gap by five wickets in week two. This week they face Pomonal at North Park and then travel to Central Park in Stawell to face Youth Club.

Swifts-Great Western surprisingly lost to Bunagor-Tatyoon by 44 runs and defeated Chalambar by 32 runs in week two. This week they travel to face Halls Gap.

Chalambar defeated Halls Gap by 32 runs and lost to Swifts-Great Western by seven wickets last week. This week they face Youth Club and Pomonal at North Park (Stawell).

Halls Gap lost to Chalambar by 32 runs and lost to Buangor-Tatyoon by five wickets in week two. In round five they face Swifts-Great Western at home.

Pomonal lost to Youth Club by nine wickets to start the season winless after two weeks of action. This week they will travel to North Park (Stawell) to face Buangor-Tatyoon and Chalambar.

In week two Youth Club were able to get their first win of the season, defeating Pomonal by nine wickets. This week they face Chalambar and Buangor-Tatyoon at Central Park (Stawell).

St Andrews smashed Rhymney-Moyston in round two by nine wickets after bowling them out for 39 runs. This week they have the bye after Buangor-Tatyoon's withdrawal on the eve of the season.
