Ararat Little Athletics committee member Judy Leggett said the club was glad to finally jump over the COVID-19 hurdle.
"We are looking forward to returning to some normality, the kids can't wait," she said.
"We are hoping to start on Thursday November 11.
"Registration will be $90 per child, it covers them for track and field and the cross country season."

Mrs Leggett said the centre should be unaffected by any COVID-19 restrictions put in place.
"Because we are a relatively small centre, we should be fine," she said.
"We should be able to operate as per normal.
"We wouldn't normally have more than a group of 10 at each activity.
Mrs Leggett said registrations would run differently this year due to the pandemic.
"Registrations will open shortly, in a week or so," she said.
"They will have to register prior to coming down.
"Once registrations open there will be an option to trial.
"Normally people can come for a couple weeks to see if they like it, which they can still do under the trial system.
"If you register as a trial athlete you don't have to pay for a couple weeks.
"With COVID-19 they are making everyone register to track who turns up."

Ararat Little Athletics won the Western Victorian Country Region Membership Award in 2020 for impressive membership numbers during the height of the pandemic.
"It was a pretty good effort," Mrs Leggett said.
"We won because we increased our members last year and retained all of our existing members."
The Ararat Little Athletics Centre runs on Thursday night's and is hoping to hold five sessions before Christmas.
