The council said the popular in-person literacy program has returned to Tuesdays and Thursdays once again with a 20 person capacity limit.
Ararat Rural City Council chief executive Dr Tim Harrison said the council knows "how valuable" the in-person literacy program is for children's literacy.
"Reading and singing from a young age helps children develop crucial language skills that builds confidence and a lifelong love of learning," Dr Harrison said.
"We know how valuable our face-to-face literacy programs are for young families and children to bond with others."

Dr Harrison was pleased to welcome back families to the Library for Storytime and Baby Rhyme Time sessions, with a change in Library operations.
According to Ararat Regional Library, story time allows preschool children and their parents to share the joy of books, rhythm and song and baby rhyme time is a fun and interactive program which combines rhymes, singing and stories for children aged up to two.
"Our team has worked hard to safely manage the return of the Storytime and Baby Rhyme Time program while adhering to COVID Safe guidelines," he said.
