A Parks Victoria spokesperson said they were satisfied the algae levels had returned to a safe level.
"We've just had the latest test results from Lake Bolac, and the algal levels have dropped sufficiently for us to remove the warning," they said.
"The alert on VicEmergency will be taken down and our rangers will remove the warning signage that's up at the moment.
"This bloom started in December 2020 and we've been testing the water regularly since.

"Rain and recent inflows into the lake have helped reduce the algae levels - blooms can be triggered by varying nutrient levels, low inflows, lower storage volumes, temperature and weather conditions.
"We will continue to monitor water quality in the lake over the coming months."
The removal of the warning is welcome news with spring weather starting to show in the region, but residents will be unable to visit the lake until COVID-19 restrictions in the state are changed.
In August, Parks Victoria district manager Western Basalt Jodi Heath said despite increased rainfall in the region the bloom was still lingering in the area.
OTHER NEWS:

"Rain and recent flows are making a difference and we will keep the community informed about the situation."
