I think I was 15 when I joined. My cousins were playing at the club and I had only been playing twilight netball, so I thought I would give it a go. That was around 2005.
I went and played with my sister at Great Western for a couple of years, and then I had 2015 off because I was pregnant, but I have been at the club the rest of the time.
Q. What non-playing roles have you held at the club?
I've coached and I was the umpire coordinator at one stage. One year I coached juniors. I've also coached C Grade which was my favourite year that I coached. There was also a year in A Grade where we coached ourselves, but we had to put me down as coach because we had to put a name down.

Q. What do you love most about your club?
People will do anything to make things work, they never give up. Everyone wrote us off thinking we were about to fold but people at the club never gave up.
It's always family first.
Q. Who do you see as the toughest opposition in the league?
Penshurst, hands down.
OTHER NEWS:
They've got some really handy players, and you can see them coming up through the juniors. They're tough but clean.
Q. Who do you rate the most around the club?
Kaye Bulger. She always puts her hand up. She has run the canteen from the start, so we wouldn't be known for having the best canteen in the league if we didn't have Kaye Bulger behind it.
Q. What is your number one highlight in your time at the Ararat Eagles?
Watching the girls win the B grade final (2018).

Q. Who is the player from your club you've most enjoyed watching?
Sarah West.
Growing up I always loved watching her. I played goal attack as a junior and she was the A Grade goal attack. She was just absolutely fierce on the court.
