No serious injuries have been reported after a light plane overshot the runway at Lilydale Airport, 45 kilometres north-east of Melbourne in Victoria on Saturday, hitting an embankment before stopping on a nearby road.

The pilot was reported to have walked from the damaged light plane after it crashed at Macintyre Lane at Yering.
The man was treated by paramedics at the scene but did not require transportation to hospital.
In footage captured at the scene, a woman can be hear saying “the airplane missed the runway”.
