The veteran played in four of of six events contested across the Labour Day weekend in Charlton.
She competed in Champion of Champions Singles, State Singles, State Fours and State Mixed, making the final in four of the finals and winning two of the titles on offer.
The weekend was highlighted by a win in the State Singles final, accounting for North Wimmera regional representative Edna Anderson 25 to 17.
Brennan then teamed with Stawell Bowls Club’s Andrew Sharp to take on the North Central region pair from Charlton in the final.
The Grampians pair held on in a close match to win 15 to 13.
It was a thrilling match with the game lasting more than three hours, as both teams tried to build a match winning lead.
The score was 13 all at the end of 18 ends with two dead ends that had to be replayed.
An extra end to decide the final with the Brennan/Sharp duo managing to hold on to claim the victory.
The conditions varied throughout the weekend with some tricky winds making it hard for players on the green at different times.
Brennan said she was forced to adapt to the changes which made it harder on the green.
“It was very trying conditions playing in swirling winds and shadows across the green at the end,” she said.
“But in the end, it was a great competitive and friendly match.”
It was a big weekend for Brennan who played across all three days, playing in eight matches and sending about 600 bowls down the green in the process.
She said it was a massive honour to win the state singles final and represent the region.
“It was a long time goal to make it to State Champions week at Bendigo,” she said.
“And to know l have finally made it, l am totally thrilled to have the opportunity to play at the level.”
