The group was announced last week, with Cooper Heard, Jayden Wright and Cody Lindsay all named in the development squad.
The squad played its last practice game before the Challenge Series on Sunday against the Geelong Falcons.
The Rebels AFL Victoria under-16 Country Challenge Series begins with a clash against the Bendigo Pioneers on Saturday, as a curtainraiser to the round one TAC Cup game between the Rebels and Pioneers at Ballarats Mars Stadium.
Round two of the championships will be played on Good Friday at Spring Creek Reserve, Torquay, against the Geelong Falcons, starting at noon.
The last game of the championships will be the traditional triple header of all country regions, to be played at the Queen Elizabeth Oval in Bendigo on Friday, April 6.
The GWV Rebels will take on the Dandenong Stingrays starting at noon.
