Geoff had good support from Alex Drosg, but it was not sufficient to hold out McDonald’s with Ryan Weppner again strong.
Bendigo Bank had a seven-game win over ChemMart. Steve Jardine enjoyed a good outing against regular sparring partner, Kelvin Donnan, while Pippa Bush enjoyed the faster rallies.
Blizzards lost their first match of the season despite a big performance by a steady Phil Goudie. Jim Stringer had a tough introduction in the first set but got his revenge with a 9-3 in the final set.
AutoPro beat Signtek by five games with Sam Fairbairn again competing well. AutoPro is equal top with Blizzards and KFC.
