Ararat bowls player Karen Brennan continues to go from strength to strength, winning through to the premier bowls grand final with her Werribee Ladies Premier league Pennant Bowls teammates.

Brennan’s team qualified for the final after a seven-shot win against Clayton in the qualifying final.
It was the first time Werribee had defeated Clayton this season.
Brennan joined Werribee at the start of this season and gained a position in the premier team as a third, with her rink winning 30-10 during the final.
The veteran bowls player said it has been a worthwhile experience bring involved with the Werribee team.
“This is my first year playing in Melbourne with Werribee and its been a wonderful experience,” she said.
“l have learnt a great deal during the time.”
Brennan said it is the first year the Werribee team has made it to the grand final after four years in the competition.
