The Ararat Pony Club will send a team of four riders to represent the Midland zone at the weekend’s State Dressage and Showjumping Championships.

The Midland zone comprises many clubs and spreads as far as Bendido, Bealiba, Donald and Horsham.
The competition will take place at the Pony Club Equestrian Centre in Gladysdale.
Ararat Pony Club Members Hannah Wigg and Annie Shea will compete in the showjumping.
Wigg will compete in the A grade championships which will be a jumping height of 1.25m.
She will compete on her horse ‘Missed Connection’ and she also qualified to compete in the C Grade Championship on her horse ‘Sir Reginald.’
Shea will compete in the B Grade Championship which has a jumping height of 1.15m on her horse ‘Impressive Quality’.
This will be Wigg’s fourth year and Shea’s second year qualifying for the event.
