More than 400 swimmers are expected to represent the 10 country districts from across Victoria at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.

"For some of the team it will be the first time that they have swam outside of the district and so will a fantastic experience," she said.
"MSAC is a one of best pools in the state and so being given the opportunity to compete here is a wonderful opportunity."
The squad was presented with its shirts and caps prior to the Stawell swim meet on Saturday.
In order to be eligible for the team swimmers needed to be a registered member of one of the Wimmera districts six swimming clubs.
The swimmers chosen to represent the district are the best available from each age group however there was no qualifying times set unlike the country championships held at Shepparton in January.
