Tatyoon’s Jarrod Blandford will captain the team while Chris Jerram will be vice captain.
Association executive Craig Marrow said the team was chosen by Peter Latham.
“Peter Latham was the guy who did most of the leg work,” he said.
“He took on the senior representative selector role for the GCA this season and he chose the team for the match.
“He has predominantly gone with the country week side, barring a couple of unavailabilities.”
The association wanted the team to have a good balance between bat and ball while focusing on picking younger players who would benefit from the experience.
“We wanted to get a relatively young side, but at the same time we wanted to make sure we are competitive as well,” Marrow said.
