Clients of Ararat’s East Grampians Health Service Community Health Centre are being asked to use an alternative entrance while redevelopment works are taking place.

The Community Health Centre is currently undergoing a $4.12 million redevelopment.
As part of this project, the front entrance will be closed for at least four months to allow works to take place on the new front entrance and façade.
Entry will continue to be from Girdlestone Street, but the health service has asked clients to use the entrance on the west side of the front of the building.
The alternate entrance will be clearly signposted to avoid confusion.
Car parking will also be restricted during this period.
“The closure of the front entrance is to enable our contractors to clear the site ready for construction,” East Grampians Health Service chief executive Nick Bush said.
“Works are progressing well and we anticipate that the Community Health Centre redevelopment will be completed late 2018.”
