Ararat Church of Christ, Community Church, Presbyterian Church and Salvation Army have been trying to find out who is the ‘superest’ hero in Alexandra Hall in Ararat.
The last day session will run from from 9.30am on January 26.
The events offered activities for primary school aged children such as games, puppets, Bible stories, songs, craft and free lunch.
Ballarat ‘Christians @ Uni’ team coordinator Chris Angel, has led a group of students from Federation University and Australian Catholic University to help out with the school holidays.
“We’ve had games, puppets, games, activities and teaching people about Jesus,” he said.
“We have had 30 kids here on Wednesday morning and we can take plenty more.
“Our team here would love to have more kids along.
“We have lunch and morning tea provided and it will finish up with a lunch on Sunday at the Church of Christ.”
Ararat Presbyterian Church Pastor Rod Waterhouse said the sessions had been great so far.
“We have run a school holiday program for the past few years but this year Chris and the team from Ballarat have really got it ramped up,” he said.
“It’s been fantastic.”
There will be also be a Youth Night and barbecue at the Church of Christ in High St for the town’s older children to meet the students.
As well as being hosted by the four participating churches, the students will also be visiting Gorrinn Nursing Home on Saturday.
“It has been a real pleasure for us to host the university team here,” Pastor Waterhouse said.
“They have given up their time, their summer holidays, to come and share with local families. We are blessed to have them join in the Ararat community.”
There will be a Farewell Luncheon at the Church of Christ for everyone involved at 1pm on January 28.
