Ararat’s churches will join together to hold three days of free ‘Superest Hero Squad’ school holiday activities.

Ararat Church of Christ, Community Church, Presbyterian Church and Salvation Army will try to find out who is the ‘superest’ hero in Alexandra Hall in Ararat from 9.30am on January 24 to 26.
The event will offer activities for primary school aged children such as games, puppets, Bible stories, songs, craft and free lunch.
Ararat Presbyterian Church Pastor Rod Waterhouse said there will be also be a Youth Night and barbecue at the Church of Christ in High St for the town’s older children to meet the students from from Ballarat University and Australian Catholic University.
As well as being hosted by the four participating churches, the university students will also be visiting Hopkins Prison and Gorrinn Nursing Home on Saturday morning.
There will be a Farewell Luncheon at the Church of Christ for everyone involved at 1pm on January 28.
