Pomonal won the toss and elected to bat on the wet Alexandra Oval pitch, struggling to find runs.
Openers Luke Jordan and Clayton Mackley both reached 14 before losing their wickets, while number three batsmen Brian Thomas failed to make an impact on the scoreboard.
Bailey Hosemans and Ryan Nellthorp faced just three balls between them when the game was abandoned early into the 21st over with Pomonal sitting at 3-31. Both teams received three points.
The loss of points hurts Buangor, who are now fifth – three points behind Tatyoon.
