Stuart Muller claimed bragging rights in the final event of 2017 at Chalambar Golf Club on Saturday.

Muller topped the A Grade ranks with a score of 77-8-69 to win the stroke event by one shot ahead of Ian Gibson.
Don Phillips topped the B Grade standings ahead of Jim Brennan while Brett Smart claimed the C Grade honours with Phil Hall finishing in second position.
Allister Williamson, Cameron Lawrie, Brian Leehane, Robert Harricks, Peter Kerber, Lloyd Grice, Smart and Brennan all got nearest the pin awards during the round.
It was a close finish in the 18-hole chicken run event with Gary Pugh scoring 42 points to narrowly win the stableford event on Thursday.
Grice finished in second place with 41 points while Andrew Searle was also in the mix with 40.
Grice and Harricks topped the nine-hole event with 22 points each.
The club will host January’s Single Stroke Monthly Medal incorporating a putting competition on Saturday.
