Ward finished four points clear to win the award that pays tribute to the former club president and member.
In the B Grade, it was Steve Hunt who topped the scoring with 42 to win by two shots ahead of Tony Rees.
Ward, Peter Gemmola, Allister Williamson, Darkie Biddle, Vern Poole, Frank Kitchen and Tad McKinnis all got nearest the pin awards with Greg Graham winning the secret six holes best score.
Bill Coxall won the 18-hole chicken run event with a score of 44 with Jim Leeke falling one shot short to claim second place.
Ian Bruce, Poole and Coxall shared the nine-hole honours with 22 points.
The club will host its final event before Christmas with a single stableford event scheduled for December 23.
Tee-off is set for 8am.
