The Ararat Prison weather observation station recorded a total of just eight millimetres of rain from Friday to Monday at noon while the Ben Nevis station recorded just 3mm and Stawell saw 13.4mm.
Ararat also saw its highest minimum temperature on Saturday of 15 degrees and was not far off its highest monthly maximum of 33.5 degrees.
Ararat has seen 20mm more rainfall this month so far compared with November 2016 and its temperatures have been about one degree cooler.
Ballarat saw almost 35mm of rain, with most falling early on Monday morning and Horsham saw almost no rain but large hailstone, some bigger than golfballs, fell in some areas across the Wimmera.
