A grass fire off Woolpack Road at St Arnaud is now under control.
Up to nine Country Fire Authority brigades attended and will remain on scene.

Firefighters are responding to a grassfire off Woolpack Road at St Arnaud.
Country Fire Authority released advice to nearby residents:
“There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
- What you should do:
- Monitor weather conditions and warnings as grassfires can spread rapidly.
- Keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.
Impacts in your area:
- Grassfires can create a lot of smoke.
CFA said the next update is expected this evening about 6.20pm or as the situation changes.
