There will be massive savings storewide (excluding Apple and agency brands), a lucky prize draw every half hour, featuring fantastic prizes such as a dishwasher and queen size mattress, and a sausage sizzle.
All proceeds from the night will go towards enhancing the lives of residents of Garden View Court and 70 Lowe Street, East Grampians Health Service’s two Ararat aged care facilities.
Aged Care Auxiliary president Libby McCormick said in the past year the Auxiliary has purchased a faux aquarium for the sensory room at 70 Lowe Street and a raised garden bed for Garden View Court.
“The Auxiliary also offers support in many other ways to residents,” she said.
“We provide Christmas and Easter celebrations for residents of both facilities, with vouchers purchased for plants, we have paid for residents to attend a luncheon at Willaura, and we also volunteer at both Garden View Court and 70 Lowe Street on a weekly basis.”
Mrs McCormick encouraged anyone looking for an early Christmas bargain to come along on the night and help raise funds for aged care in Ararat.
““We very much appreciate the support of Ian Meyer and his team at Harvey Norman, who have planned an exciting night of shopping, bargains, lucky prize draws and auctions,” she said.
The shopping night will be held from 6pm to 9pm. Ticket are $20 per person, available from Harvey Norman or on the night, with children free.
