Ricky Ralph has a big win when it came up against the J Ward team, as J Ward were unable to win a single set from the match-up, as the Hartwich’s combined to make it a perfect six wins from six sets for their team.
Gasons had a round to forget, as the team was completely outclassed by a dominant Rural Steel team on the court.
Rural Steel won 34 games while keeping Gasons to a single figure total, as it struggled to match the intensity from the other side of the net, as it won just nine games for the round.
Stan Hamilton got the points in a close contest against Sign tech, winning 34 games to 30 to notch up another win for the season.
In the closest match of the round, it came down to the final game between Fishers IGA and Ararat Medical Clinic to decide the winner with Fishers getting the 31 games to 30 victory in a pressure-filled match.
The final set finished with a 9-3 scoreline and there was a sigh of relief when the winning point was hit by Fishers IGA.
