ARARAT West Primary School has won a visit by children’s entertainment group The Mik Maks.

The group announced on Tuesday through an email to fans that Ararat West Primary was the winner of a Mik Mak Show.
“Several weeks ago the school was ravaged by fire with classrooms and many resources lost in the flames,” the group stated.
“The support shown for Ararat West from communities far and wide has been nothing short of inspirational.
“We are delighted to play a small part in the recovery process for the schooling community.
“Thank you to everyone that entered our competition. We were truly overwhelmed with the amount of entries.”
The date of the show has yet to be confirmed.
The Mik Maks group describes itself as Australia’s newest and fastest growing independent children’s act.
Brothers Brian, Joel, Alan and Dean McInnes perform songs for children and adults.
They write and perform their own songs that focus on engaging children through colour, actions and movement.
The Mik Maks have graced the stage a some of Victoria’s biggest festivals and family events including St Kilda festival and Warrnambool Fun4Kids festival.
