With his side struggling after two cheap losses, Brown was composed enough to take his side to a defendable total.
Brown worked with Ashley Leggett (13) to get the score over 100 runs.
He carried his bat as his side managed its way to 119.
Chalambar’s total was helped along with sloppy bowling from the Combine, giving away 30 runs in extras.
Opening bowlers Cooper Reading and Josh McCartney took two wickets each for the Combine.
Brown also shined with the ball, taking three wickets for 11 runs in his eight over spell.
The Combine, who were low on numbers, managed just 71 runs before they were all out in the 27th over.
Brayden Staynes top scored for Swifts/Great Western, scoring 21 runs.
