Pomonal Native Flower Show 2017 sees greater attendance than in previous years in 35th event

POMONAL Native Flower Show has continued its revival with attendance at Pomonal Hall and open gardens higher than in previous years.

Flower show committee secretary Linda Handscombe said about 1000 people browsed displays of native flowers and open gardens designed around native species.

“It was fabulous. Beautiful weather, we had just under 1000 paying adults go through,” she said.

“We had a stunning display of flowers and we had great plant sales outside the hall and three beautiful open gardens that were really well visited.”

Proceeds from the show will go towards further improving Pomonal Hall and General Store gardens and bringing out guest speakers.
