The Demons defeated the Horsham Saints in one of the best matches of the grand final day.
Both teams couldn’t be separated after normal time, the Demons were eventual winners 8.6 (54) to 6.6 (42).
The Saints seemed in control of the game in the first half but the Demons came back in the final quarter with just minutes remaining in ordinary time.
It was all Demons in the two periods of extra time, they moved the ball well and with energy.
Demon captain Ben Hobbs and best on ground Harley Pope were standouts for their team.
Saints captain Sam Breuer and Judd Wright were standouts for the losing side.
Demons coach Craig Heard said his team were simply able to gain momentum and play their style of football.
